Potassium sulfate is a salt composed of sulfate ion and potassium ion, which is usually colorless or white crystal, particle or powder.
No smell, bitter taste. Hard. Chemical properties are inactive. Stable in the air.
Density: 2.66g/cm.
Melting point: 1069ºC.

The aqueous solution is neutral, and the pH is about 7 at normal temperature. 1g is soluble in 8.3ml water, 4ml boiling water and 75ml glycerin, but insoluble in ethanol.
